We see them scooting around the highline or hanging around the activity zone, but, for the most part, a child is an elusive figure at NYU Abu Dhabi.
Most people who live at NYUAD know what it is to be a student, traversing their way from classes to the library to the dining hall. But what is like to be a child here?
We asked five children, the sons and daughters of faculty and staff, to tell us what it’s like to live here by drawing their impression of the campus and telling us what their favorite thing to do is.
Cecelia, 10: ‘I like going to the gym and scooting - I’m really good at doing tricks’.

Grant, 9: "I think [living on campus] is cool because there is a dining hall and it's big. And I have a lot of friends who live here."
