People come and people go
It is always an endless realization of who stays and who goes
You never expect it
You never address it
It is sudden and a burden
You are held as a baby
You feel safe and innocent
But once that hug goes
You face reality
Reality sucks
It slaps you
It kicks it
It ruins you like a bomb
You are never a baby again even if you crave it
In a family
In love
And in friendship
The last one hits you in the face
In the most striking way
It was your choice to face it
Let me be honest
You do not choose family
You do not choose love and lust
But you do choose friends
That is why when they break you
Piece by piece
You do not realize it
We as humans want to believe we are always right
We are egoistic animals
We are Hobbesian
We are never wrong in a fight
We do not make wrong choices
When you realize your choice was wrong
You lose a piece of your entity and equity
You are a currency
That is devalued day by day
Due to your emotional inflation
I might argue overstimulation
You are a banknote
That can win in value and lose in value
Just because you were inflated
It does not mean your monetary value does not go up
In a race of worth
You will come swinging
You will fall and lose
You will be held again
By friendship that feels like family and love
Disappointment is a realization, a gift in disguise
