Ma’a Salama is a set of community events and activities organized for Class of 2019 students and their guests before their commencement on May 27. A full itinerary of Ma’a Salama, which runs from May 24 to 26, can be found on the Student Portal Events include trips to the Louvre and the Grand Mosque, a faculty iftar and a seniors-only get together.

Class of 2019 students from the Engineering Division will present their capstones via poster presentations on May 12 between 10 and 11:30 a.m. in lobby of A5 outside the Engineering Design Studio.

The week, the music department will showcase students’ work from this year in a series of recitals. On May 13, composition, jazz piano, flute, saxophone and clarinet students will perform. On May 14, voice, piano and composition students will showcase their achievements. On Thursday violin and piano students will perform. The recitals will begin at 8 p.m. each night in the NYU Abu Dhabi Arts Center Blue Hall.

The last day of classes for the Spring term will be on May 16, with final exams officially beginning on May 18.
