End of Year Gala
The 2019 End of Year Gala Masquerade will be held at the St. Regis Corniche on April 18 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The theme of the this year’s gala is A Midsummer Night’s Dream, in an ode to Shakespeare’s beloved play.
Class of 2019 students will get first priority for ticket purchases. 80 tickets have been reserved for Class of 2019 students on April 7, after which sales will be open to the entire student body on April 8 and April 9. Tickets can be bought for 80 dirhams at the Campus East Dining Hall from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Programming Board recommends, “cocktail attire, festive mask[s], and theatrical hair and makeup.”
Latino Night
The Latinoamérica Student Interest Group is hosting its annual Latino Night. Come and learn about Latin American history, music, dances, and food. Eat delicious traditional dishes, learn the basics of salsa and bachata, watch a beautiful dance show and listen to a band of students performing on stage!
Latino Night will be held on April 11 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Marketplace.
Academic Representatives Elections
Due to technical difficulties, the offices for Academic representatives will have their own elections, separate from the class representatives and executive board positions. The new elections will be held on April 8 and 9. Exercise your right to elect who will represent student interests to the various academic departments.
