Contemporary Dance Workshop
Arts professor, NYU alumnus and Chair of the Tisch Department of Dance, Sean Curran will host a contemporary dance workshop on Feb. 18 in the Arts Center room 144 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The class will incorporate Limon and Cunningham techniques in order to help attendees to “utilize both mind and body.” Students can RSVP on the student portal.
Financial Aid Workshop
From Feb. 21 to Feb. 24 a counselor from NYU’s Office of Financial Support will be available on campus. The Office of Financial Support will host a Financial Aid Workshop on Feb. 21 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in room A4-006 to instruct students on how to renew their financial support.
Students unable to attend the workshop can attend walk-in hours on Feb. 21 and Feb. 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Feb. 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in E224 in the Academic Resource Center.
Learn about UAE culture
UAE 101, Stories and Cultural Learnings co-author Roudha Al Marri will speak at the marketplace on Feb. 19 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Students will have the opportunity to ask about Emirati culture and local customs. Students interested can RSVP here.
